Castello di Rivoli invites art lovers to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 14th February. By attending as a couple (partners, parents and children, friends or relatives), you can have two admissions for the single rate of € 10.00.
On this occasion, the special guided tour Bacchus and Ariadne, beautiful, and ardently in love with each other, presented by Alessia Giorda, Historic and Artistic Heritage of the Savoy Residence Manager, at 2.30 pm, will lead visitors through the captivating decorations of the Sabauda Residence.
Following the special guided tour, at 4.00 pm, the The Education Department presents a focus dedicated to couples in the world of contemporary art. Through the works and artists of the Museum’s Permanent Collection, with a particular focus on Arte povera, visitors will embark on a journey to discover stories that have left their mark on the art of our time: Michelangelo Pistoletto and Maria Pioppi, Mario and Marisa Merz, Gilberto Zorio and Grazia Toderi, are just a few examples of artists, who were life and work companions.
