In her dreamy and colorful set, Valeria Sturba plucks strings, presses buttons, turns knobs, adds or multiplies sounds, creating small parallel worlds where gentle voices blend with theremin and sweet, melancholic songs plunge into abysses of noise. A graduate in violin, Valeria Sturba sings, composes, uses electronics, and plays various instruments in addition to various sound toys. Her artistic path embraces various genres: singer-songwriter, rock, jazz, free improvisation, electronics, minimalism. At TJF, she has already performed with OoopopoiooO, a Dadaist duo with Vincenzo Vasi.
