Giuliana Rosso

Giuliana Rosso works in the fields of painting, drawing, and environmental installation. Finché quel che fantastichiamo è stato (Till what we speculate has been) is a large-scale environmental work that transforms the space into a paradoxical place. A drawing on paper generates a core of electricity from which fantastic figures and objects explode: a masked explorer setting off on a long journey inside the walls of his home, military chickens, birthday cakes, a girl looking out of a window bathed in twilight, rocks of papier-mâché in acidic colors, a young man in a flower-shaped mask lying down and playing with a doll in anti-virus coveralls.
